The navy Brumby donkey jacket comes straight out of the Aubin archive. It's based on a 1960's vintage British Railway jacket made by Arthur Miller. Originally designed for those working on the construction of the Manchester ship canals this style soon became a uniform for the British working class and non-conformist subcultures. It's made from fabric woven in the UK by Abraham Moons & Sons, established in 1837 in Guiseley, West Yorkshire. The Melton weave is still manufactured to exacting British standards. The Brumby is manufactured in the UK too, we have partnered with Cookson & Clegg in Blackburn to produce this high-quality garment. They have a proud 160-year history of UK manufacturing producing some of the most robust military apparel. The quality of their work is reflected in this long history and well renowned reputation. Features: Made using British Melton wool from Abraham Moons & Sons, Yorkshire. Manufactured in the UK by Cookson & Clegg, Blackburn. A true British garment. Large laid-on front pockets. British made buttons. Navy. Fit- oversized fit. The model is 6ft 2" , chest 36", waist 28.5" and wears a medium.
